The possibility.
The excitement.
The ups.
The downs.
The laughter.
The tears.
The friends.
The family.
The tailgating.
The playing of "bags."
Fairbury Franks.
The players.
The coaches.
The band.
The balloon release after the first TOUCHDOWN!
Memorial Stadium.
"How are the Huskers going to do this year?"
G-B-R!
Chants of "H U S K E R P O W E R!" and "GOOOOO BIIIIGGGGG REEEEDDD......GO BIG RED!" ringing, not only through the stadium, but throughout HUSKER NATION!
There is NO PLACE LIKE NEBRASKA!
As Andy Williams sang out many years ago, "It's the most wonderful time of the year!"
