FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS

The sound of the band.

The smell of popcorn.

The cheerleaders.

The smell of the grass.

The parents.

The student body.

FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS!

It's been awhile since THE CHEERLEADER and I were at a High School Football game. We have some friends who's son plays (I believe that is him, on the field, in the dark, back right) and we wanted to watch him play.

What memories it brought back.  First, as a player...some 34 years ago was my Senior Year. And then, 9 years ago, watching our son play in his Senior Year.

What great memories then....and new ones being made tonight.

FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS.

Think back to your own memories of High School or College or any other time.  The fun...the friends...the laughter and tears...but GREAT memories.  

BUT, don't just live back there.  Remember them, but look to make new memories each day in your BEST YEAR YET.

You don't have to have football to have your new version of FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS.  Find that "thing" and make it special.....you'll be glad you did.
