J IS FOR...JOURNEY!

"Life at St. Jude is a JOURNEY."

Very rarely are journeys we take ever in a "straight line."  

I know that the JOURNEY of LIFE is not always easy.  

Just when you think you have it somewhat figured out, there's a curve in the road....there's a fork in the road.....wait, what happened to the road?

Our St. Jude artist for the LETTER J ended their rendering with a Bible verse, Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the plans I have for you...."

I really like this verse.  It's one that is filled with FAITH.  It's filled with expectation.  It's filled with HOPE and a future of GOOD.

Here's the whole verse, 
"For I know the plans I have for you," says the Lord.  "They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope."

This life JOURNEY that we are all on, if we follow the Lord's plans for us, we aren't assured that we won't "go through it," but we are assured that the plan is GOOD and not bad...and that PLAN has a future for us that includes HOPE (an earnest and confident expectation).

Everybody's JOURNEY is different, so as you go through yours, even if the "road" takes a turn you weren't expecting, DON'T STOP....KEEP GOING!
