SEEDS

seed
sēd/
  1. a flowering plant's unit of reproduction, capable of developing into another such plant.

SEEDS.

Yesterday, we talked about WEEDS and the affects that they can have on us.

And, although WEEDS have SEEDS, we want to discuss the good part about good SEEDS in our lives.

You've most likely heard, or know, things grow after their own kind.  What that means is this: if you plant corn, you'll have a harvest of corn.  If you plant corn, you WON'T have a harvest of apples.

It's a natural law:  SEED TIME and HARVEST.

Things grow/reproduce after their own kind.

We can liken SEED to so many things in our lives:
  • If you want peace, demonstrate/show peace
  • If you want joy, be joyful
  • If you want friends, be friendly
As we mentioned in yesterday's post, WEEDS will do their utmost to choke out the good SEED in your life.

So treat the good SEED in your life as valuable.

Take care of it:
  • Water it
  • Feed it
  • Let it rest (at times)
Remember, ALL WEEDS have seeds.....but not every SEED is a weed.

Ask yourself, "What type/kind of crop do I want?"  Good/productive or bad/harmful?

It all depends on the type of SEED you are sowing.

BEST YEAR YET WEEKEND CHALLENGE:
Change a habit or thought pattern using the SEED and WEED concept we've talked about the last 2 days.

What ONE area can you work on?

  • Joy
  • Peace
  • Anxiety
  • Fear
  • Friends/being Friendly
  • Others.....
Find something and do the "WEEDING" process...cultivate your "SOIL," plant the "SEED" and take care of it.
