31!

How appropriate that today, July 11, 2017, the CHEERLEADER and I celebrate 31 years of Marriage....but also that "31" is representative, from the book of Proverbs, in the Bible, of WHO SHE IS!

For 11,323 days she has been the essence of this WISE WOMAN described in Proverbs 31.

Let's look at a few of the characteristics described in Proverbs 31:10-31

• TRUST - I have FULL confidence and TRUST in her.  This is probably the single greatest trait that the 2 of us share.  It has, over time, been challenged, but never broken.
• DOES GOOD and NOT EVIL - I know many good/great people, but I'm not sure I have come across someone that is more giving of time, talent and resources than her.
• HARD WORKER
• BUSINESS MINDED
• FORWARD THINKER
• NOT AFRAID OF SNOW (v. 21) - quick story; in April of 2009 we moved into the home we live in today.  That winter, we were hit with snow, it seemed like every week....and just a little 2 inches, but FEET of snow, each time.  The problem, I was out of town on business each time the "SNOWMEGEDON" hit.  So she got all over it, with the help of our 14 year old son (at the time), Luke.  Oh, and they shoveled it all by hand.  Yep, we now have a snowblower!
• SHE TAKES CARE OF HERSELF and LOOKS GOOD!
• SHE MAKES ME LOOK GOOD....especially when I stand next to her (exhibit 1 - see any pictures ever taken of both of us together)
• SHE'S A TEACHER WHO IS FULL OF WISDOM
• SHE RUNS AN EFFICIENT HOME
• HER CHILDREN LOVE HER AND CALL HER BLESSED!
• I CALL HER BLESSED!

Chris, thank you for the past 11,323 days!  

On this day recognizing our 31 years, you are a picture perfect example of the "31" Woman!
