"Good morning Mr. Phelps....."
This is how the TV show, "Mission Impossible," started each week. I was young when the show ran from 1966-1973, but I do remember seeing it...and even later on syndication.
Something I read today, made me think about the show. Here's what I read:
"Don't let the difficulty of the moment distract you from the mission"
I believe we all have a mission.....a MISSION: POSSIBLE.
But do we let the difficulty of the moment sidetrack us? Stop us from completing our mission?
"Your mission, if you choose to accept it...."
We each have choices in our BEST YEAR YET. Some choices can appear to be a bit scary. Do we sacrifice significance for the comfortable?
Steve Jobs said to Pepsi Executive John Sculley, when luring Sculley to Apple, "Do you want to sell sugar water for the rest of your life, or do you want to come with me and change the world?"
MISSION: POSSIBLE!
You might not be a Steve Jobs or a John Sculley or even a Jim Phelps, but you have a MISSION to accomplish that needs your attention. Others need what you have. Don't deny them of that!
"Your mission, if you choose to accept it......"
MISSION: POSSIBLE!
