GRATEFUL DAD

Today marks my 29th Father's Day (30th if you count my one "pre-season" Father's Day in 1988 a few months before our first was born).

I know there are those reading this that look at me and say, "Rookie" at my 29 years as a Dad and others might think I'm YODA!

I don't know your feelings about it, but I can tell you the I am one GRATEFUL DAD!

I have 3 sons.  First 2 are fresh on the "Adulting" circuit and the 3rd is getting ready to step into it.

I love spending time with my boys.

This FATHER'S DAY weekend of 2017 is a full one:

  • Ran a 10K early Saturday morning
  • Had breakfast with TEAM PETERSON
  • Spent 10 hours at the College World Series with one son (Caleb)
    • watched 2 pretty incredible games!
  • Woke up today (Father's Day) and getting ready to hit the repeat button for the day as we will have breakfast and then off again to the College World Series for another full day of baseball activity by taking my other 2 sons (Josh and Luke) each to a game
2 full days that I wouldn't trade for anything!

GRATEFUL DAD.

To all, celebrate Dad today.  You might not have him with you physically, so celebrate his memory and legacy he's passed down to you.  Maybe you didn't have the best relationship with your dad, at least celebrate that you are alive and that you, because of LIFE have an opportunity to impact others.

So, to all the dad's out there today.....HAPPY FATHER'S DAY.

GRATEFUL DAD, I am!
